Yup pretty clean but it does have a few wee annoying bits but wont take much time or effort to sort them out. Still the original 1.6 in it which is the only way I'd have one, really like the old 8v engines.. Only plan is to go a bit lower and just try and keep it clean... so astra will probably be staying for commuting to work and just have the nova as a toy..

Yes I like GSi's with the original engine. They are less common than ones with an XE

Nice looking Nova, Mine was virtually identical minus the bonnet pins I got £1500 for mine a few years back.

One thing that makes me laugh, everyone will congratulate you on buying a nice nova for £1500 but if someone came on here and said "Ive just bought this L-reg Corsa Gsi for £1500 they would get ripped to pieces

Good to see your keeping the 8v in it, ive been driving a Nova Sri fo rthe last few months, nothing likes a limiter like an old vaux 8v

Price doesnt bother me, condition does.. My old red GSi Corsa sold for £2200.. You get what you pay for in the end.. The fact the wheels and tyres are a week old didnt help me get it any cheaper.. lol

It will look the same, just be a bit cleaner.. Bonnet pins will get changed for sunk in ones because I'm not going to the hassle of finding a rust free bonnet and getting it sprayed.

You are a moron. You won't be enjoying it for long once the arches rust away and the chassis legs fall off will you? Its 15 years old, its not galvanized and winter roads will destroy it.

I bid you good day.
