Unless you're a top notch chef, then i wouldn't say cooking a meal on the first date is a good idea.

Plus if you go for a meal somewhere, you can find out what sort of food she likes and surprise her with a home cooked meal that you know she'll love at a later date.

I think if I met someone out clubbing etc I wouldn't go out for a meal straight away but if it was aguy I knew at work for example and had chatted to etc then yeah I would want to go for a meal... it all depends if that makes sence.

i think cinema is bad for a first date as you can talk and wont get to know each other

i think either bowling or just go to a quiet pub somewhere that you can both relax and have fun
