no not realy, can feel them if he tryes to walk along your hand but they struggle to walk on any surface because of their weird legs lol

weve had are toitoise now for about 23 years, he lives and roams in the garden freely all summer. In the winter in the shead in a box fall of straw.

awww hes lovely.. i got told they can go in the garden over the summer but i would never let him live out there lol.. cats and dogs would have him and as for the shed. dont understand how they live like that for so long but i guess they just adjust and get everything they need over the summer to survive. Im going to keep mine in the viv

what type of tortoises are they? im not so up on the kinds of them, also if you have any tips for me on keeping mine it will be much appreciated. at the moment im just going off what the internet says or the reptile shop but it would be good to get advice off owners them selfs. hes eatng at the moment, first time since we got him yesterday so he must be settling in ok

lol, i have no clue what breed tommy is. he should be awake soon, getting warm now and should soon be out of hibination (sp)
He once escaped and got onto a busy road near a school but lucky someone who knows us found him 
also note : dont wake them up to early from there big sleep, they get very dissorianted and walk around in circuls for days on end

got him from a reptile shop local to me.. very pricey though, if you can get one for less than £100 in a petshop then you are lucky.. i went to this shop originaly because they were selling some at £99 but they sold out so she knocked a tenner off george lol
