My sister-in-law got asked to tuck her hood in in a bar the other day.
She is not a chav, she's just had a baby, and doesn't want to wear her best clothes incase the baby is sick on her...
I agree with it in some cases, but asking a 28 year old with a pram to tuck it in or leave is stupid IMO.

I'm not saying she's not a chav because she's just had a baby btw

You drive a corsa Robin therefore you sit in McDonalds car park, pull handbrake turns and have a cherry bomb exhaust.

Like it or lump it. thats the way it is.
Chav either way
Showing your age there hoodies are in fact, according to fashion editors and designers, in fashion and believe it or not functional.
I don't own or have any wish to own one but to get kicked out a public house for wearing one is harsh imo.
@ functunal.
even more about the kicked out of a pub for wearing one...
and again for being kicked out of a pub for wearing hoodie etc
/off to bed now

Nothing wrong with them, i actually like them.
its the stigma attached to them thats the problem.

funny how most fights at the end of the nights are barrys in their "smart casual" jeans and shoes
I wear hoodies out too, get asked to remove them, i also recently started wearing a beanie style hat 24/7 due to growing my hair but get asked to remove that as well!!
Theres a difference between some chav wearing white trackie bottoms black nikes and a white hoodie and some dude wearing baggy chino's skate shoes and a dvs hoodie.

Yea, funny how when you go to a club that insists on you dressing in jeans, black shiney shoes and a shirt with a collar it's full of dicks, drunken girls being sick all over the place, people fighting e.t.c... When you go to a decent club, the most recent example I can speak of is The End and AKA bar where they have a really relaxed dress code and you can wear whatever you like there is no trouble and everyone minds thier own business. Though that is partially due to the entrance being £20 and the drinks being £6 a go.

You're making then sounds like KKK hoods now Everyone wears hoodies, there is no stigma, there is nothing wrong with them. The only reason some places don't like them is due to CCTV.

Media "Dresses" (excuse the pun) the whole hoodie thing up. they make it our to be that they are so bad and that if a crime is comited where an individual wore a hoodie, that it is mainly due to that!
