They mentioned them in PPC & they sound ideal for a fun track car

Cheap to fix engine otherwise found in VW vans, RWD, good suspension setup

"THE" poor mans Porsche, which means its overlooked & underpriced

I know, same with the Volvo 340/360 really...

Engine at the front, gearbox at the back, cheap, strong, good.

From what I gather, they're not too strong.

205 is the better option by far, just strip it and fit a 1.6 gearbox if you want, no need for anything else.

It's french, probably. My mates gear box mount broke. Thats about it, and he ragged his to an inch of it's life everyday, his was quick too, i think it was about 150-160bhp, had 4 branch mani, de cat, cams, filter and chipped or maped at hillpower. Was probably the loudest car i've ever driven, and thats saying something let me tell you!

Corsa in the garage, another 3 on the drive & my brothers bloody Golf

Soon to be 2 Corsas in the garage, my daily driver on the drive & hopefully no sign of any Golf
