Ooooooh, stroppy
Edit to add, that I was enquiring, rather than arguing, but never mind, as I might have gone out of my way to sort it out. You'll have to fanny about yourself and get it collected now

Not really because you seem one of the most cuntish people around... and anything to do with royal mail seems to touch a nerve and you come out with all guns firing to protect good old rm... half of the people that work for rm are foreign and want to steal all our goods or are drugged up fuckwits.

How would somone in Wales have sorted it
There is no point in even bothering trying to get it re-delivered as the odds are against me. I have had 1 in 6 of the parcels I have recieved in the last month actually delivered to my door.

Yes, i'm obviously a cunt However, i'm not sure what you were trying to show though by missing half of the sentence from the quote
I didn't come out with all guns firing at all . If Ed had made himself clearer and not had a bit of a tantrum, then I might have offered to sort it out tomorrow. As it is, I won't bother.
Also, i'd love to see the evidence to back up your statistics, . I've never said they're perfect, but when penises like you make statements like that, I can't help but laugh

I'm not in Wales, but that would make no difference as RM have CS sites all over the UK and we can usually get things like this sorted.

Why is it also that Royal Mail can't see who has signed for an item for 72 hours, where as Citylink can tell you on the day?

Oh, and why do they let people sign for parcels by people who live in the wrong flat?

My hate list goes as following (1 being the worst):
1. Initial City Link
2. Parcel Force
3. Target.
I concur.

Parcel Force have just squeezed into number one position. At least Initial Citylink don't let randomers sign for your post and steal it.

Yes they do, they only dont if the shipper requests a consignee signature only.
If your neighbour steals a parcel then its their problem not the company that delivers it.

Think its because Royal Mail use a different system and it would cost too much to give each postie one of the handheld scanners as theres simply so many of them. Citylink have far less drivers and its cheaper to equip them. Parcelforce can get you a signature on the same day for some of the services, as they've already equipped the drivers with the scanners. I'll agree though, its a pain in the arse that we can't get signatures the same day.

Citylink are worse! I've not had one item that they've actually taken back to the depo as they should! I've had a £300 MP4 player left outside the door, in student ville. God knows how it wasn't stolen. If they've not left it outside, they've delivered it to a business 5 doors down the road!

Claim your postage back then. Shouldn't be a problem provided it had the right address details on it.

I have had this happen to me loads of times at my apartment!
They are too lazy to get the lift upto the 4th floor to knock on my door and deliver something so they leave a card saying that no one was in, when I always am in the morning as dont start uni until later in the day

Fuck knows where the package ended up. It was at another flat and someone dropped it off. I have no idea how it ended up there. The only thinkg I can think of is they managed to give it to another flat 35 as there are two different buildings where I live which go under the same name. My the other one is called The Moorings and my one is called something different. No idea, it arrived and I can't be arsed to get a refund or anything as it was about £5 and I think it would me more trouble than it's worth, especially as I'd have to get John to sort it all out...

How hard will it be for me to do it?
Will an email suffice?
I'm still willing to do it out of principal.

Only need to fill in the form and send it in with the Special Delivery receipt, so its not that much hassle I don't think.
Cosmo, do the posties actually have access to be able to deliver the post to the invididual doors? If so, make a complaint about it.

Yes, the post boxes are downstairs in the lobby area, right next to the lifts upto the apartments.
The last time it happened I rearranged it to be delivered, only for the exact same thing to happen again with a card being left downstairs when I was in. Complained that time and they delivered it the next day...actually coming upto the door this time

I'm trying to fill in the online form but there doens't seem to be a late/delivered to a random option, only lost or damaged.

John - PM me your address then, and i'll send a form out to you in the Post. You have to send in the receipt anyway, so you can attach it at the same time. Make sure you take a photocopy of the SD receipt!
Cosmo - If the postboxes are down in the lobby area, then he's doing his job correctly. Unless you have a letterbox in your door, he isn't really supposed to trapse up the stairs to knock on your door, unless he's feeling exceptionally kind (or he's got a lot of energy )

parcels are meant to be delivered upto my door and signed for. They cant fit in the post boxes down the for one, and the post boses cant sign for them either.
