You sure you know what you want, you've been looking at R5GTT's, Cupra's etc. don't just jump at an impulse, doesn't sound like you've thought it through imo

Have been a service advisor too, which meant on occasions would need to go on roadtest to ensure customer was satisfied with work

If you like BIG repair bills, buy a G60. If you want a car which handles, buy a VR6.
VR6 is cheaper to insure than the G60 anyway, and is just as nippy.

G60 is 160bhp standard, 2.9 VR6 is 190bhp.
G60's only 10bhp more than a 1.8 16v, slightly faster acceleration.

I see, I was basing my assumption on a 200bhp figure for the G60
VR6 handles better anyway, it's one of the top 10 FWD cars for handling, according to EVO magazine

the G60 sounds better tbh, but the VR6 will cost less to insure, and won't fuck up as often.

TBH i have worded that wrong, i have driven cars with customers consent to check things before i hand it back, this is mainly due to a workshop that couldnt fix things, and me getting a bollocking from the customer because of it, so once they have finsihed it, ive driven it so i can say 100% to the customer it is fixed (as a service advisor)
