I cant see how you dramatically pulled away from him as them 330ci's do go some with 231 bhp and a beautifull torque spread they can run a very low 14 sec standing quarter with an Auto box!!
Personally the stereotypical view of BMW and TT drivers have been highlighted in this thread you are both as bad as each other.

Funny you say that Fad, on the way to Santa Pod a couple weekends ago I came up against a 330Ci and there was hardly anything in it, VXR started to slightly edge it towards the end but if anything there was nothing at all in it.

Remeber the BMW is more than likely to have an auto box and is N/A so no turbo for the midrange torque. On the standing quarter it will run a low 14, after driving one recently i'm a convert. Not to mention if you can bait TT drivers and this was pretty equal this proves my point the BMW should in theory be quicker.

TBH I wasn't suprised at how quick it was, I remember racing one in my Punto GT and it killing me I've always loved 330Ci's so smooth and quick.
TT would have trouble keeping with it TBH, especially a 225 model.

Infact all TT's are a bit slow aren't they I thought they were Sports cars
3.2 V6 Quattro DSG is a bit piss poor stats wise, might be a bit different on the road.
