£4k for a turbo'd Corsa? I paid less than that for my S14a
right? there two completly differant cars so whats your point?
Well done, Captain Obvious. My point was that for less than £4k, you can get a half decent, rear wheel drive car, which is newer and a better spec
You have obviously never owned one then. The time and effort in a turbo corsa alone is worth all the money, not to mention the costs! Why comment on something you have never had?

I've had a Corsa. I sold when I wanted a proper car
I don't have to have had something to comment on it. I've never had herpes or gonorrhea, but I can still comment on the fact they they aren't particularly pleasant diseases.
And what do you mean by time and effort? It isn't exactly rocket science to drop in a LET. Admittedly, it'd be quick, but at the end of the day, its ultimately a front wheel drive, with too much power for the wheels. At least the S14 has right wheel drive and can get down the power.

Yes but a 1.2 corsa (or whatever you had) and a LET corsa are totally differant! Anyone that has owned a let corsa will agree with me.
Drop a LET in? There is a lot more to it than that! let me guess you work in a bank? Dipshit
Also it isnt that hard to put the power down, LSD and a good knowledge of how to drive and its simple.

Will struggle to sell that for £5k, saying that might be just what someone's looking for.
Really sweet Corsa but i think £5k is alot of money to pay.

There are some fucking stupid people on here, i payed 3.4k for my LET and tbh its the best 3.4k i have ever spent, as Wilsonsri said that is the going rate for these at the moment, saying that 5k is a bit optimistic. Fear sold his Corsa to poole off hear for over 6k back in 2005, and that was a 1.4 16v

Why do people put this in an advert, is it some kind of insentive to prospective buyers that the are going to be able to buy it & insure it as a 1.2 He might aswell put - I drive illegally, so can you!!

I dont think its anything special or worth anything close to £5k, I sold a scooby same year 12 months ago for a grand less & (awaits the corsa LET penis pump crew flaming) it was a much better all round car IMO I would have liked more, id spend £k's on engine, body wheels interior - but at the end of the day thats what it was worth!!

It's the same with all car's they are only worth what somebody is willing to pay, when you think about it the price most LET Corsa's go for is alot less than it costs to build one and less time consuming when you think about sourcing a decent engine, parts & fitting It's kind of a bargain as Modded car's are never worth the money put into them, but you could also spend your money on something like a standard Integra DC2/200sx/CTR/Pulsar which you can pick up for the same kinda Prices as somebody said... but having a standard fast car Kind of beats the object of being "into" modified Car's
Anyway enough rambling on i am Tired... If i was going to buy a LET Corsa Would just be for that Sleeper Value.. Preferably in Faded Flame Pink with a tow bar Steelies pre 97 bumpers ECt.. 4K to embarras CTR's and such?? bargain

Sorry but i've seen a LOT of MUCh cleaner LET conversions than is shown there. That looks pretty tatty, un-tidy wiring, the fan housing is out of position (melted fan soon enough).
Nice car, but no-where near £5k's worth.
LET corsas should be going for £3k-£4k... You don't make money on LET conversions. Hell i'd buy £500 shells and put LET's in them if i was going to make £1500 on each one...

id rather take my chances on shaving my ball sack with a rusty razor than own a subaru impreza right now, if and when I do fancy one ill pop over to scooby net or whatever the forum is and try and look cool there, £5k does seem a tad pricey but as said C20let corsa's can go for £4k plus.
