Disregard for authority, law and humanity in general. Frustrates me that those kids are set not to do anything with their lives and furthermore don't really want to. There are a lot of white British teenagers who could learn a lot from other races and religions.

And it was packed for Sunday service? Or something else?
My parish Church struggles for numbers, as does another local one I was in for a wedding the other week, was talking to some of the volunteers about it. I stopped going years ago and I don't personally know anyone else who does actually go there regularly except for special occasions.
Must be different near you.
In halifax, where i used to live, there is a team of Christian voulenteers who patrol the streets on a fri/sat night, and help ppl who need it.
I dont see a team of muslims helping others.
Christians put somthing back into the community and help EVERYONE, not just thier own.

I agree 100% Ian, however with their choice to live in our country I believe they should adapt to our standards and we shouldnt have to make changes for them. It angered me to hear over christmas that shops were being made to take decorations down for other peoples religion. Its their problem that they should deal with.

Getting rid of Christianity through banning decorations and having every religion other than Christianity on Christmas cards is very wrong indeed, and there have been lots of do-goody people doing more harm than good for many years now but that is not the same as investing a bit of cash in a building.
Assisting one is not necessarily disadvantaging another. Christians do their own job of letting their faith down.

Quoted for truth.
The average age of church-goers has been rising for the last 10 years apparently.

To be honest im not a christian, I dont believe any money should go towards it. They are people with lives so empty they feel the need to dedicate themselves otherwise they are empty. People to scared to face the reality of life, but IMO life is too short for that. I dont know why any government or any power should fund any religion, if they want a mosque they can raise their own money. Just as corsasport raises money, if I dedicate my life to my car I wont get any money for a garage from anyone, its no different!

The Christian volunteers in Liverpool are more intent on forcing their teaching on to you than listening to your problems. I've been to the Christian late night cafe in town and talked to them and the conversation very quickly became a sales pitch.

Indeed, which is valid, but to disguise it as help for the needy is a bit wide of the mark. Its recruitment.

Lets not confuse Christianity with Christmas though!
