thats a VZ Commodore SS. The one shown in the pics wearing VXR badge is basically a HSV GTS. 6.0 V8 LS2 engine with 307kW. Performance is mind-boggling, and has one of the best balanced RWD chassis' around today. Performance-wise its in the same bracket as the E63 AMG, Audi S6, M5. it sure doesnt have the ultra high quality interior, but it is at least a 1/3rd of the price of the others.

Holden are exporting this to the USA as well, between 30000-50000 a year

oh, and its not a Monaro replacement, because that has yet to be announced here in auz. this is a 4dr saloon, not a 2dr coupe
