lower compression pistons would mean less power...

according to almost every spec for both, they are 5bhp apart, not 15.

well it was 8v not 16v. so it wouldn't be that high would it. anyway. i miss that car.

the 1.4 had power all the way through the revs. the 1.6 had it in th lower end!

i wud say my nova sri had her on the road for 6yrs modded to 100bhp left std outside apart from clear lights 15"alloys. no back seats harness rear srtut etc etc etc great rnd the track. shes in bits now for the last 2 yrs goin pink as i fort i wud get back 2 rebuilding her as i nicked bits off her for my corsa sri.

Got to be my 12v, as it is my first car in my name.

However my girlfriends 1.4 16v MK4 Fiesta was pretty damn quick, comfortable and handled well for a GhiaX.
