I've had a 'number 1' for about 8 years and I have a nice shape head ( ) I always get told I suit it (even by people who don;t like the look), plus I have a big mahoosive cows lick and it grows quite wavy so it's not gonna happen
I am not 'rock' enough to do it

I have long hair 
Was a pain growing it, looked a mess for ages. Once it gets fairly long get it cut into a style but tell the hair dresser how your wanting to grow it as will cut it in a way so it grows into that style.
Caps were a must for about 6 months though, but Im a tax dodging student so could get away with wearing them all the time.

Yes i have a receding hairline, the way my hair is cut makes it looks worse than it is thank you very much.
Its not growing that much longer, just the bits that are short need to grow out.
