ghettos are the most dangerous places to live due to poverty not race and in the UK we dont have ghettos we have deprived areas in which i grew up. Yet i am not racist nor have assaulted or attacked anyone on a racist basis and i am now studying law

No i dont im asian so i dont qualify neither do i qualify for busaries from the government as my parents earn too much. I pay 22% tax on my earnings and i only qualify for the minimum student loan. Yet im in my third year of a law and business degree. This fund does not exist in the UK
-You have Martin Luther King Day.
Not really and this day would not exist if it was not for the rasicm inflicted on the african american people by the "white" majority in power at the time. If "white" people were so fair there would not have been a Martin Luther king day as there would not have been a black rights movement. This is a result of peoples own doings.
-You have Black History Month.
Again if the British had not gone to Africa and bought and sold people for business and traded with peoples lives things would have been very different. The slave trade is the very basis for black history month
-You have Cesar Chavez Day.
Campaigned for immigrant workers to recieve better treatment and fairness so that they were not taken advantage of by employers. Does everyone not deserve equal treatment
-You have Yom Hashoah
Remembers the holocaust
-You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi
Is the exact same thing as Christmas so kind of contradiction there
-You have the NAACP.
The slogan for the National Advancement of Coloured People is an instituion that has stood for near enough a 100 years and is there not to promote "coloured people" but to campaign for equality that is clearly not there in america NOT the UK
-You have BET.
-If we had WET(white entertainment television) ...we'd be racist.

English History in the UK is covered in every primary school and doesnt seem to convey any sort of struggle in the UK. As said before Black history is there to remind people of the struggle that people went through to gain equal rights
-If we had an organization for only whites to "advance" our lives... we'd be racist.
Playing with words here as the NAACP doesnt do that. In the UK we do not have these societies as they are against equal oppourtinites
-If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships...you know we'd be racist.
Again we dont have that against equal opps
-In the Million Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights. If we marched for our race and rights...you would call us racist.
Back then "black and white " people couldnt even use the same toilet or sit in the same part of the bus. They couldnt even go to school together or eat in the same resturant. I feel the difference is rights is a very large one
-Did you know that some high school students decided to make a club for only the white students because the other ethnicities had them... they all got sent to court for being racist but the african-american, Latino, and Asia clubs were not even questioned.
-You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and you're not afraid to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you call us racists.
English and proud is not a crime and not racist. Neither is claiming to be white however claiming claiming to be white and better is racist.

This post has no reflection on our society in the UK and has clearly been written by someone from America. This lack of celebration of English people is down to the English themselves. We learn about the great English past yet no one from it is celebrated. People have a Martin Luther King day because the campaigned for it. It wasnt just handed down to them, if you want more recognistion for the English people in history then do something. BUT even when you do have a day people tend not to do anything much. What did you do last saint georges day. I went to a roman catholic school and learnt everything about christanity even sang hymns in church. Im brown and proud to be in the same way some of my friends are white and proud. THATS NOT RACIST
What is racist is when people join the im white and proud gang and start saying im white and im better than you same applies to every other race. If you want recognition for English or white individuals then fight for it it wasnt given to anyone for free. Icons are born from strife hence Boudicca who rose against the romans is remembered.
that is all i hope you realise this is not attacking those who agree with this post just clarifying the information given and giving my own view. Thanks for reading.

BET is available if you have sky over here, cant remember what channel. Its not just their version of MTV Base either, they also have that.

very well put mate, so why can i not have a "white and majority ethnic newsletter" at work, but we can have a "black and minority ethnic" one?
why are people allowed to come to our country on holiday visa's with no medical insurance and claim everything under the sun, and try and receive free hospital treatment on the NHS?
why is it there is more racist attacks on white people than by white people but these are never on the news, we live in a country thats so PC were scared to fart incase we offend people with long noses.

I can't believe you just posted we have MTV Base and you have a million channels do we need to call it WET.
Are white people not allowed to like r'n'b or hip hop or conversely black people or asians not allowed to enjoy rock or indie music?

That in no way meant that your not allowed to listen to or like it no one can tell you what to watch. In the same way no one stops you from watching BET. I was only refering to the name of the channel not who can watch it.

Yes, but BET is not their version of MTV Base, its totally different. MTV Base is named for the music it plays, not the race of its viewers and/or performers.

If black people want equality then firstly they should stop...
- Carrying knives/guns
- Going into our nightclubs looking for trouble, the fisrt time they can shout racism, they will!
- thinking it's ok to do what they like to white people cos they know the governmenr HAS to take pitty on them over us
- trying to change our country and our ways, and obide by our rules... how many white people do you see in their country telling all them to stop wearing symbols and shit cos it offends them

Not long ago there was a radio station on for a month in Liverpool called TTFM (Toxteth Radio) and it was purposley for blacks and run by blacks, now I knew one of the DJs on it and I pulled him up over an advert that they had on it about the maritime museum it said...
"If you are black, asian, or of afro carribean origin and have an interest in the slave trade then please contact us for more details on becoming a tour guide"
I asked him well why cant I be a tour guide as I know a bit about it and was interested in it when I was in school, Ive been on the tour a few times and found it interesting, he laughed, I said im being serious its racist, if it was the other way round there would be murder, he said let him listen to it, so he got back in touch with me and said I was right and told me to apply for it lol which I didnt, I just wanted to put my point across lol

i've only started having racist views the past year or so, never really bothered me say 5 years ago.. can't put my finger on what caused it to begin. This post is all true but I get stressed from just reading it..
