same boat as yourself mate and similar budget, im looking at Leon Cupra R's, S3, VXR astra/corsa, Evo 7/8, Integra R, GTR33 and Supra's... ive joined their owners clubs to find out more info on them before i narrow down the choice - then ill test drive them and make my mind up. Good luck!

How about a volvo? Could get a nice S40 T5 Sport or probably a new C30 T5 sport. Something a bit different a very good performance wise! Same engine as focus ST. I'm sure Mav will approve!!

Could get a Brand New Golf GTi with plenty of options (leather, 18s, Xenons etc.) on finance over 36 months for that. Then get rid after 3 years instead of paying the lump sum.
