And another had a ban for same kind of incident..

Normally, it will be a ban! Gutting I bet. Don't know if you say you're very very sorry etc you may get points and a huge/fine etc.

I got in the shit for that exact same thing once - "Driving without due care and attention and failing to stop and report an accident". Got out of it eventually, because I didn't actually hit anyone.

Still made me feel like abit of a victim

thats what p1sses me off soooo much, people see the convictions and 5 points etc and assume i did something horrificly wrong, when it was only a missunderstanding tbh

exactly, i just wanted opinions on what ill be looking at from past experiances etc, not to be slated as i know what i did was stupid, wasnt as if it was 66mph past a school at 3.30, it was 11pm and on a quiet industrial road!

TBH though you do deserve to be called a tw@t for doing 66 in a 30 no matter what the time. Its a 30 for a reason and that sort of speed is just stupid.

Sorry mate, but your in for a ban! I got caught just before mas up hill doing 58mph in a 30. I dont have to go to court, just pleed guilty, i think i'm looking to get 6 points and a fine.

Here's a link to a site to maybe give you some idea what your in for at least. Nothing for your speed exactly, plus all magistrates differ.

i got court doin 70 in a 30 in november, im still waitin for my court apperance. every morning i look at the mail and shit myself. ill let u know how i get on........ i spoke to a copper i know,and he said that the best thing to do is to put ur hands up and appologise. trying to get away with it will make things 10 times worse. in other words the court see that a speed camera does not lie. wish me luck buddy! lol
