I haven't had one since the 1st, not that bothered unless i'm drinking tbh.

Given up drinking for a month (for starters) as getting bored with the whole thing after xmas and want to see what difference it makes to how I feel etc and if I feel like it i'll stick at it.

What do you mean by properly normal though in this day and age

Nahh, i know what you mean. TBH, we've already noticed a difference, more awake, can think clearer, jsut doesn't seem as clouded. (non smokers won't get this bit )

Also woke up this morning (got some sleep tongiht, poor Donna didn't though ) and my eyes were not black, and again, no badgers bottoms for a tounge.

Sleepless nights etc went after a couple of weeks, but its only after giving up for a long time than i can see how it was affecting me before, but in quite subtle ways. I got so much more energy, ambition, drive, confidence, dont mind going to the supermarket (used to get a bit funny about all the people and bright lights ) and silly little things like talking to randomers on the phone. I can also concentrate so much better now, my grades at uni have shot up from almost failing to 1st / high 2.1 grade (highest in the class for a few bits of work this year!) and im generally loads happier. I know it sounds hypocritical, but i actually see myself looking down on weed smokers a bit now, they remind me of cats and catnip

Really? Bugger....

I know what your mean about energy, drive, confidence etc. Im already noticing the effects of it, but im level headed, I never let myself get too lazy. It was only when i started getting lazy and i couldn't help it that i decided it was time to stop.

But also im looking to go forward in my career but am going to have to do a lot of self learning. As u'll know, self learning, remember stuff, while having a joint, it simply does not work

tbh, theres a few reasons why I have stopped so im not gonna stop now...

i'm cutting back this week and i have set next tuesday as the official date as i've got my radiology final on monday! I'm seeing the smoking nurse at my doctors tuesday morning so all should be good! I've been smoking about 5 years now but this past year it's slowly increased to 20 a day and i've been waking up struggling to breath etc and i'm sick of it! Only had 3 so far today i would usually of had atleast 6 by now!

I believe my negativity stems from the amount of green i smoke, and I too have the supermarket thing

I'm not gonna stop tho. Nothing else better to do tbh.

Ahhh, thats a bit negative mate! Course there's other things to do, why not read a book, learn a new skill, go out for a walk/bike ride in the countryside or even just watch tv without smoking a joint
