You mean buy an already UK registered car?

How could it be registered if buying from Japan?

Thats Gez G off here's car above and i think he may sell it if the price is right. They are both lovely cars although i would go for the GSI as i prefer turbo over vtec and the Gsi is alot more practicle.

What colin said.

Im finding mine a right pain in the arse at the mo, so need a second car.

The roof comes off the S2K though, that would have sold it for me over the GSi

Well Im always using my car for lumping stuff around.....I just brought a set of step ladders round from my folks, if I had a 2 seater id be walking them round in the pissing rain

Id have one in a second as there amazing cars but only on the strength I could have another car for when I need it, either named on the faithers A4 Avant or keep the golf as 2nd car.

I would love one though.....its on my shortlist.

i'd go for the s2k, the astra is a good car yeah, but its a bit dull to drive compared to the s2000.

well what i mean is buy it from an importer who does all the work for you. i think my mate was given this option but decided not to as it would show an extra owner. but then when he had all the issues of not being able to insure it until it was uk reg'd with a regno. and with tax but you can't get tax until it was insured...... something like that, it was a major head ache and he wished he had it all done now by the importer, he had to sit at home unable to drive his dc2 for weeks due to waiting for everything.

I see I would most definately be going through an importer. I do not have the time or patience to sort all that stuff out

not much to browse, but what he does do is takes into account what you want, model/age/mileage/condition etc, and email you with potential cars going to jap auctions, so you get the right car for the money, and not just some random one.

That is nice but for some reason I prefer the earlier shape like Nismos? Plus it's way out my price range
