I wouldn't say it turns me into a raving loony, but I've started seeing this girl recently, and she smokes the odd fag now and again, mainly in her breaks at work - she works in a pub. She'll just have the odd fag... which to me says that she doesn't need to smoke as she's not exactly reliant on them, she just kinda does it for the sake of it? Maybe a bit of a social thing?
Anyway, I was in the pub she works in earlier (she was working), and I could see her having a fag with her colleagues... it really tore me up inside! I just can't stand seeing her do it as I like her, just really gets to me! Had a bit of a fall out about it too

We've kissed and made-up now... I think I made my point though as I went to leave the pub without really saying bye to her, so she knew I was pissed off  . She has said she will give up for me but I doubt it to be honest.
I think the problem is, she's got it into her head that when she gets a little stressed at work, she decides to reward herself with a fag, not a good attitude to have!
It's something I'll just have to get my head around I guess, I'll have to come to accept it... If I can't, then I'll just have to move on from her.

changing the way someone socialable acts, or talks, walks, clothing they wear etc is one thing, and i'll agree with you on that.
But it's crap using that same view for someone that smokes, which effects their health but also other peoples health, and getting someone to stop smoking is only a good thing - it certainly isn't nessacary (and yes it could be said drinking could be seen in the same light, but it only effects the person using that drug....not other people in the same room  )

The way I see it, she doesn't need to smoke, she can go a day without a fag and it doesn't bother her... no real cravings etc. But the more she keeps on smoking, the more she's going to rely on it as a way of relieving a bit of stress, and it will just get harder and harder to give them up IMO... which is why it pains me to watch her doing it.

Well if you're on the subject of rich kids....
I really dislike anyone thinking I'm a mummy's/daddy's boy because of the things I have. Mainly people at college say it to me, like when I told them how much I paid for my car they assumed I'd been given money from my parents.
But really pisses me off is when they take the piss about me being spoilt but ask for lifts home or to maccy d's. I wouldnt mind but I had to work had for everything I have and most of the time I've done it by myself.
