get colin to do it..

As colin says if you want at least £25 start it at that with no reserve and no buy it now and see how it goes...

Then for the next one you have an idea..

IMHO reserve prices on auctions puts me right off, but thats just me...

But it now might be worth it though..

start at £25 with a buy it now of say £49.99 or that and see what happens

I'm busy right now pinching ideas from other sellers

Do you think I should put a couple up for sale, one like the triple one I made for Colin, and the arty farty one I've just made. Or just the one to see how it goes

just put a starting price on which covers the cost of equipment and the effort you have put in. like ppl say start it low just so you get an idea of how well they are going to go.

You need certain levels of feedback to do certain things.

Personally I start at 99p to get market price for the item. If you want to set your own price then use reserve or high start price but be aware this may mean the item doesn't sell, meaning you charged the fee anyway plus your buyers have the opportunity to look up the prices of previous items, see they didn't sell and expect to pay less.

Reserve is a tax on being safe.

You will get more if you start cheap and get people to play the game.

put it up at 99p no reserve, i do this even with cars

the market will settle for the right price, if you dont know how much something is worth it might go for 10 or 1000 quid, you can not tell.

i have never used BIN, as if i can get the same thing cheaper on an auction i will

personally i would have bought a few things frst, just cheap crap to get your feedback rating up, alot of people are put off by no feedback and think they are being scammed, worth a try,

imho of course

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
