ye theres a difference between being confident and being an arrogant cunt  if your gf is amazingly stunning then its always good at first, but then it gets shit seeing people hitting on em constantly, and like its been said 9/10 they aint to bright either!

The perfect example of this is my mate (who I will not name). She is honestly so absolutely stunning and is very intelligent. She is at uni studying history of some type  And she met this bloke who is so over protective of her that he actually follows her around clubs/pubs etc to see who she talks to  I had an argument with her because, since she's been going with him she takes days off most weeks to go stay at his. If I was him I would have been dragging her arse in to uni but he doesn't, he thinks its a good thing that she stays with him instead of securing her future  THAT is the sort of prick that typically gets the stunning, and in this case full of potential, girl

As Eckerpecker has posted an example I'll do the same:
A gitl I know how I've been pretty good friends with for about 2-3 years now, she is around the same age (she's 29 I'm 30) and she is absolutely brilliant - she is down to earth, realistic, independant, caring, a great listener and full of very good advise and always has plenty of time for friends when they need a chat etc etc, she's also very pretty (imo) and like to take care of herself.
She is going with a guy I'm friends with, and nothing against him, but he is everything she's not, he's pretty loud and boistrous, can be crude, he'a about 15 years older than her and has a child from a previous marriage (I know that's not important but thought I'd mention it as she has often mentioned to me about how one day she'd like kids of her own) and to be perfectly honest when they first got together I never thought it'd last, but it's been a couple of years now, she's given up her flat and moved into his place so she obviously see's something in him that I can't.
It's things like this that annoy me.
