i know it stands out, but that shouldnt be the reason they pull people over for, the bodywork is all standard except the extended bonnet, just different colours lol

Think from a policman's point of view -

Car with different coloured body panels means it's been crashed normally.

Corsa generally means young lad.

Corsa + multicolour = young lad crashed.

Young lad crash = driving at speed.

Simple logic really.

I'f you'd been the policeman, not knowing why the car was different colours, you'd have done just the same.

They do it so you know they're there, so you don't fuck about, because you don't want to risk it.

To be honest, you're lucky he didn't give you more of a talking to, for being cheeky with him.

He's doing his job, properly.

yes, but its not his job to speak to me like im scum, their was absolutely no excuse for talking to me like he was doing, if he was to talk to a random person like that if he wasnt a copper someone would have hit him.

Massive generalisation tbh. Every check etc you describe that was done he has the power to do under the Road Traffic Act so he is just doing his job. What you fall out with is his attitude and that may be fair enough I wasn't there I can't comment but don't tar us all with the same brush.

More than likely they were pulling people over to see if they were drink driving. I sometimes ask what the speed limit is because a) they should know and b) when they answer you can smell their breath. From the sounds of it nobody came out of that interaction particularly well.
