I humped a 180 bhp golf VR6 in my 106 gti, no problem... Pulled on it in 2nd gear, overtook in 3rd gear down a dual carriageway. Spoke to him after and he was going full whack. (and my car feels like it's running shit)

I think a VXR would have no problem.
