Mine was £250 all in, but it only means something to me.

I just had my plate valued at 1500.

Cost me 500 but no chance its worth that.

who's valuation is that though, don't a lot of them over value them so people will try and sell them rather than not bother.
People take the piss out of my plate, i'm happy with it and think its clear what its meant to say though. Bought it more as an investment in the hope i can sell it on one day, as surely they are only going to get rarer.

That was the point I was making carl, the plate is only worth what somebody will actually pay for it.

yeah. Thats what gets me, some people think they are a rip off and i tend to agree, but if you have money coming out of your ears and want a plate 20k could be lose change to them. It's just luck, this was part of the arguement with my dad as he didn't agree with me buying mine.
