You cant see a remap Fadrica so will hardly make it look better. And i believe it allready has a map because i out accelerate mapped golfs and keep up with my chums revo'd ibiza

I dont tell people it's mapped because i dont know what map it's running, probably just overboosting massively knowing my luck!

why do you want brembo's?? The standard brakes are more than adequate with a pair of ds2500???? you won't need brembo's till your pushing 250bhp.

plumb in a boost gauge and see what boost it's running. do you feel a rush of acceleration at 3000rpm?? wheels spin in second gear??

I've got DS2500's and ATE Discs waiting to be fitted. Apparently they are the nuts.

dont like the feel of the standard brakes, when pushed hard for a while they dont like stopping you too quickly.

Yes it does pull alot harder from 3k, it has some sort of map on it but i'm not sure what one.

Parents have got me a nomad guage holder and boost and oil temperature gauges for christmas, so i will see what boost it is running pretty soon.

interesting as the fella who had it before you said it was standard!!! have you got uprated pads?? I went out in the red one with the cataluynas on, that has in the region of 240bhp and the brakes are fine. get some ds 2500's before you spend £500+ on R Brembos.

Yeh lad i bought it off said engine is standard except for the catback, but it's a fast wee nipper.

Probably just badly overboosting

Spacers and H&R cup kit are on the cards

if your going 17's i wouldn't get spacers, plus the cup kit is expensive for what it is, tell you've signed up to seatcupra.net!!!

when my mate had his on 17's and h+r cup kit he had to take the spacers off due to rubbing, now he has 9" wheels on the back so no spacers!

Looks great mate, I prefer the standard wheels though or a set of LCR wheels would look the nuts on it.

The wheels look really tucked into the car if you know what I mean
