No , as Gaelic is from the west of scotland, that was scottish not english, note the words- YER & WEE

As a piper in The black watch i am appauled by this thread

The bagpipes is a instrument of war and is a mans instrument. Pipers during the war piped the scottish battalions into battle, and played a big part in keeping moral up and giving the soldiers the strengh to run into a haze of bullets. Pipers that were wounded were even brave enough to play untill there death, dont see English brave enough to do that do you

Yeah nothing worse......especially if you have someone in your street learning to play them with all the windows open etc

to be fair its understandable its funny to others, some people prob think our history and bagpipes/kilts is weird as they dont understand it

i know how they feel as the first time i saw morris dancers on the telly me and my mates fell about laughing

we have kilts and bagpipes they have little bells and hankies
