thats my cousins old one sold for 6k.. that had just short of 200bhp i beleive.

Dax Rush square tube, im guessing either a vauxhall or ford engine going by the exhaust manifold

XE or a Pinto ??

200bhp, chances are it's an XE, Pinto isn't as tuneable really.

Ive driven pintos with over 200bhp, not the best engine to work with though!


1800 k series, removed VVC, emerald management, Piper Cams, Head work that scared me slightly today

Yeah, I know the Pinto can produce over 200bhp, but pound for pound, the 20XE is the better choice, 200bhp Pintos are a lot of cash, and probably not as reliable as a simple TBd XE

Yeh indeed Robin, Problem is not many 7 style cars have them!

caterham vauxhalls with the 6 speed box, lsd and slicks was probably the best racing championship there was!

40 car grids, 215bhp cars that cornered amazingly fast!

this is my friends with an injected fireblade engine in it.

We built it in about 3 weeks, we've both done a few track days in it and it has done a 12.9 sec 1/4 mile too

i keep looking out on flea bay for a 20xe type7 kit..... pre built

Just swap out the enigne - job done
