J100RSA - how have you ran your throttle cable? most seem to have it lieing over the rocker cover but yours doesn't. Can't quite see in the pic

Thanks for all the pics guys, some really good pics there and its giving me some good ideas what to do.

Keep posting if you have anymore, I am rebuilding my XE over the winter and will be in next year

How'd you kill it?

missed a gear racing a scooby got 3rd instead of 5th and i was at limiter (8500) in 4th data logger said 13000rpm or somthing

Ha my mate done that in his CTR going through the dartford tunnel!!!! Honda replaced the engine for him on warranty!!! Was only 4 months old..

Is it possible to remove a inlet manifold from a C20XE while the engine si still in the car? Might get my mate to paint the bulkhead with the engine in the car if it is? Someone on here must have done or tryed it?

yeah it can be done, the one we are fitting a head to later tonight has the manifold left in the car, was removed before the head apparantly

Sounds good, will get the engine in it this weekend then i hope. Just got my cam belt set, water pump and obligatory 8 valve sump gasket!

Shud have some engine bay pic's up soon ish.
