Essentially i could hear screaming but wasnt sure if i had screamed? I was also drenched in sweat.
It says they can last up to 20minutes  Thank fuck it was only 1-2mins. I think my GF would of had a heart attack she was so scared

i suffer badly from night terrors, i usually have one every night but lately its been down to a few a week. I don't know im having them but i know i've had one when i wake up feeling knackered and see the house lookin at me with disgust.
I've broken by fingers, toes, wrist all through night terrors, ive even knocked myself unconcious. As well as break stuff in my room, i got a nice lava lamp for xmas a few years back, it lasted a few days and id smashed it everywhere and had cut my feet up where i walked on it!
I've had them since i was about 13, im now 21 and still have them, but because now im bigger and stronger my mum is to scared to get up to me because ive grabbed her before and started strangling her thinking it was the person in my dream, so my dad has to get up and do it now. They arent allowed to wake me up either else i can go into shock so he has to guide/wrestle me back to bed and then usually im ok. When i used to have them every night i would make myself go to bed really late and hope that i wouldnt have them coz i was so tired but i still did!
my dreams differ every time from people chasing me, or things being in my room etc. I was told by a specialist i had to take these pills but they didnt work so i dont take em now, its where my brain doesnt switch off when i sleep like most peoples does. I've even got myself into trouble a few times when i was younger and chased by police or got caught etc i would reinact it in mysleep and confess n shit, so its got me into trouble loads too!

haha nath, when i've had mine when ive stayed out at a mates or on holiday etc ive had them then, so many of my mates think im possessed i remember waking up one morning and all my mates in the room on holiday hadn't slept coz they were to scared, i pinned one down by his chest and he thought i was going to kill him, its funny for me only because i dont know im having them, and still dont know ive had one when i wake up!
funny thing is, i move out in a few weeks into a 3 bedroom house with 2 mates, god help them! hahhaah

apparently mines caused because i 've got an over active imagination, and 9/10 my dreams are about people comin after me to kill me etc, i knew i shouldnt of watched so many action films when i was younger!

I've only ever had a few bad nightmares (never got up and moved), fucks I once dreamt I was stuck in a dream then I'd wake up but I was still in the dream
Must be a big part of your life if it happens every night, do you think you'll cope moving out without your dad to sort you out?

should be ok, its calmed down alot recently, only happening a few times a week and recently i did like 10 days without one. It'll be ok as usually if im left then i sort myself out, friends know about it anyway so should be alright

i hate them dreams when you are in a light sleep and you wake up suddenly as though you have just hit the floor. After reading your predicament though thats nothing. I hope you keep dangerous objects out of your room.

apparently asked my ex once if she had got the inflatable bananas?!?
Had weird dream last week that I was in a car accident, dreamt I woke up in hospital in real pain on life support. Woke up and was lying down on my front which had start getting pins and needles. freaked me out for a bit that did

readin all this makes me think.....i had these alot when i was little. thought was just nightmares never heard of night terrors.
used to sleep walk but having the nightmare at the same time, i knew what i was doin but had no control just keptin runnin around the house screamin and crying.
