It's Jamsport, not Janspeed who built the S/C + TB'd 106

Well i'll join a few tonight, i think the rallye reg might be a bit motorsport orientated, so i don't think that'll be what i want!!!! Might go saxo sports club, i feel like a laugh, then i'll reg to the rallye club for any tuning questions.

fuck a bout, just spent the last 30 mins on the phone to him, he said 200bhp at the wheels is the basic kit!!!! gonna start saving i think, he said he would only put it on without a restrictor with forge pistons, very helpful, i'm brain dead with all the info he has just given me, i said i'd be happy with 160 at the whells and he laughed and said he'd restrict it for me!!!

well he said i'd need an uprated clutch, but if i restrict the charger to 7psi, that will be good for 160bhp+ AT THE WHEELS!!! but due to the fact that the boost increases with the rpm unlike a turbo the standard gearbox / internals will be fine, he said he has just done one with 270bhp at the wheels and he said it was fucking crazy.

you would be better buying a stronger engine, either a GTi6/xsara VTS and fit the 2litre 5 speed box. Tb conversion or SuperCharger will see 220bhp and will be driveabable/reiable too

so how do you suppose i fit a 2.0 in my engine bay?? He said it'll be as driveable as it is now and on 7psi it'll be reliable, plus if i want to drive like a granny the fuel consumption won't be any different to std.

i know they fitted one to the boot of a 106 and it was rwd, never seen a 106 with a 2.0 in it. tbh the supercharger is enough money, plus it's not adding much weight over the front end, where as putting the 2.0 in will have affects on the handling.

there isn't any spare room in the bay atm anyway!!!!!

but i'd love to see one thats been done.
