Check out scoobynet, there's loads on there for that price, altho a grp 20 jap import is gonna rape you on insurance as it did me aged 21
I'm 23, 3 years no claims, 4k mileage, social only. Decent postcode. Parked on driveway. Cheapest quote I have on a Classic WRX is around £900 FC so far. So it isnt too bad.

Not a bad quote that, I was paying double that @ 21 with 2NCB and worst grade postcode you can get.

scoob or the gtir for bang for yer buck
gt4 for power with looks
guessing the ftos in there for its looks as the only one it will match is the starlet for 0-60s
but if you can get an m3 for 4 grand then get that as its got the best all together package and doesnt have a chavy image yet imo of course

They are, gti's and Rallyes quoted 0-60 time etc were timed with 4 people in the car and a tank full of fuel as a way of getting round high insurance (at the time they were launched) so in effect fooling the insurers. in the origonal handbook in small print at the back it says all times quoted with 4 passengers and full tank of fuel so take that 7.7 to 60 with a pinch of salt

Just a thought but how about getting some insurance quotes for the cars on the list and make a comparison to get a better idea

No there not There just like any other car look after them and it will never let you down
We had one with just shy of 90k on the clock and was booted about everywhere and never missed a beat
4k i would go for the mr2 turbo or an s1 RS turbo
