Try paint stripper, that should remove it...
Also, there is no way your car is lowered, here is a pic of my old Corsa lowered 35mm in comparison to your Tigra:

yes it is lowered, if you look at another tigra that not lowered you can tell. The back end is harder to tell as tigras backend are quite high anyhow.

I had a hire car that got vadalised with a fat marker pen two days before i had to give it back, Everyone said the car would need to be re-sprayed but with a cheap buffer, loads of te- cut and a good 4 hours elbow grease it all came off,
Id try this before shelling out on more expensive methods to get it off.
