He was suggesting non smokers would jump on their soap box over the fact you have went to the doctors and played the mental anguish card in order to recieve free patches.
They should dish out free patches to everyone anyway imo, if it stops everyone from smoking then fairplay,

Mav, get that book by allen carr. I posted about it the other day - two of my mates read it, gave up straight away and got no desire to smoke again  I gave up by just willpower but got that book the ohter day, hopefully it should help me not start again, although I managed my first night out on the piss without smoking on thursday

i gave u before for about 6 months twice and started again. hateful. gonna give up at xmas this year altho im really determined to see it thru this time. Worst part is after u havent smoked for a couple of weeks or months and then everyone forgets u ever smoked (n u get no more praise and its just expected from u) and then u think i could just take one cause i havent smoked in ages so i can withstand one, then ur back on them. nitemare

aye, i gave up for 4 months last time. Determined not to start again this time though, Im generally sorting my life out Gave up weed etc back in Jan, cut down to about 15 units a week max, lost 6lbs, actually trying at uni this year, so smokin is the last thing that i got to sort out
