We stayed in a remote part of the Island with only 3 other hotels in a 2 mile radius of us ...however there were people performing all sorts of stuff every night.
Taxi only costs $3 into the city of Nassu (Capital) where there's loads of pubs like Hard Rock cafe etc
I can't stress how fit the american birds were either

True, i've had that problem before
Theres a lack of English people there tho (during the 2 weeks i was there i came across 6 other British people). The Americans see the Bahamas as their weekend break so the place is full of them.

Well I was hoping to spend around £1k for 14 nights all inclusive, plus spending money on top of that, we can easily do Cancun for that price but not sure about the others

you'll get a decent all inclusive in Bahamas for about a grand.
In Miami go self catering as the super markets are cheap as fuck so really easy to get a load of food...you'd have to hire a car though probably or pay a load in taxi fares!

Have personally been to...
Cocoa Beach (up by Cape Canavril)
Miami
Kissamee (Orlando area)
Tampa
St Petersburg
Personally would say either Cocoa Beach (famed for its surfing,e tc.) or Miami, but if I had to pick one Id def say Miami.

FFS nowhere seems to offer all inclusive packages to Miami, does this mean I have to venture out of the flat and talk to someone

Me and 5 mates just came back from Orlando. I would recommend it. Nightlife is wicked and there is loads to do. Not too far from Miami either if you fancy a day there.
