i think the society we live in today is shocking to be honest, like mensioned above, tax, house prices, petrol prices, being caught on camera an average of 300 times a day, just all adds up to make you feel like you have no privacy or quality of life! dont get me wrong i do like this country but its getting worse in every element, i cant wait til my family move to ibiza in the next year or so, i have a cousin that lives out there and he just laughs at us when we talk about all the problems back in britain! i envy him to be honest! blame Tony Blair lol

I agree Ally, immigration is my major gripe about the UK.

We should have tougher entry requirements like most other countries that only let in what they need and can add to society and not just be free-loaders which is what we tend to let in.

I felt sorry for him because I pitied him really. No self control, no determination to make things better. I'd hate to be like that.

TBH, I think people worry too much about being caught on camera 300 times a day, having their fingerprings on record and 'having their bins 'bugged'

If you have nothing to hide, why does it bother you so much? don't bother with the privacy thing... you don't care that 1000s of people see you with their eyes everyday, people might be watching everything you do, but you just carry on regardless.

Pointless arguing about IMHO.

Immigrants is a big problem for me aswell. Thats what i meant in my first post about this country losing itself.

If a person wants to live here, i think they should be subject to an entry like in the USA.

Britain isn't the worst place to live, i'd rather be here than some place in Iraq ffs

Injustices like benefit scrounging really annoy me, i was always encouraged to do well at school, get a good job and have a nice life etc. Now anyone can come in and claim benefits and get free houses and all the other things highlighted in the media. Plus people seem to be blaming the government or other people for kids being obese or 'my daughter is pregnant because of the government'. Stuff like that really boils my piss.

I know what you mean.

same as smoking on TV, you can't do that anymore without getting complaints, but you can show dead bodies, people shooting guns if they're in uniform...

ye i get what you mean Jambo! i once designed and made a childrens educational toy when i did product design at school, part of my design folder was to go out and take pictures of it in use which i did! when i got to the school i wasn't allowed to take the pictures the teacher had to and the children's faces weren't allowed to be taken on camera they had to have their backs turned, shocking realy that we have to do things like that!

My brothers got a job in Zurich, Switzerland when he finishes University because he's so fed up of how this country is heading... I shall follow the same route - I can't stand it.

My parents parents didn't fight in the war to have society the way it is today, it's a disgrace.
