1.8t is massive, I asked about it on clubpolo, and apparently its a LOT of work, like cutting and welding of chassis rails

GT engine is strong, and with a pair of 40s on it, and a cam, polished head etc, would make over 110bhp, reliable bhp.

and it bolts straight in, no custom bits, no problems getting parts, no gearbox problems...

lad on south yorkshire dubs website swapped one over in to his polo in just over a day fully up and running.

will have a better think about what i want to do next year.

will be something euro on the wheel front of things, corsa is stopping as it is though. im only getting the polo to stop me doing anything stupid to the corsa that i will lose money on.

may be going for very wide minilites or revolutions me thinks , there are so many wheels to choose from now though

won't of thought it would be too hards, gearlinkage quite simple due to it a sequental gearbox, simple wiring (just use the motorbike clocks/intrument)

only hard would be to get drive, due too single sprocket, would have to be a chain to a bigger spocket (to adjust gearing) with would then go to the drive shafts. problem being it would be a like weilding your diff up!

dont no how you get round that

and if you want torque, get a Vtwin/v4 fireblade or something or even a single

Thought about this briefly for mine. A CBR1000RR (my mate conveniently has a crashed damaged one ) has the same power as my TB'd 1.6 16v. Unfortunately the bike engine has a pitiful amount of torque (circa 80lbft IIRC) this would make it useless even in my featherweight nova.
I believe the gearbox issue could be sorted quite simply, as all the RWD rear engine conversions have already been done, the simple solution would be to use whatever box they use!

Pleaseeee... You still have to convert it to run chain drive which means mounting a custom diff and driveshafts which is a ball ache...
