not the fastest or best handling but great fun, tunable and lots of cheap spares available. also a bit different and its not french

I've had stock 205 gti 1.6 and 1.9 in the past.....1.9

I had a play with a rallye the other day (no idea of the spec) and it held its own......until braking/corners.

If you went down the rallye route i would suggest looking at the brakes/suspension

well, the ebay one, is a 1.6, with 1.9 wheels, and full leather, and is only at 450 or something at the mo, with a day left.

if its still cheapy cheap, i'll have it, sell the interior, and buy a 1.9 engine with the cash

then i have the better gear ratios too.

as for rallyes, i've had a look, and they're still bloody expensive
