Just send another simple letter detailing the points they made to be rubbish. The fact of the matter here is they have delivered your parcel to an address which is not yours & not informed you of where it was left, they are responsible for your losses & if they dont respond within 20 days with a proposal detailing how they are going to resolve this you will contact Postcomm/Postwatch to make a formal complaint & begin court proceedings.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thankyou for your reply against my complaint regarding the sevices of Business Post. I must say that i find your comments and your assumptions disgraceful.
After reading the letter , it is quite clear that setup is discraceful.
You have stated :
On the morning of the 19th the driver was handed the map ,which had circled the location of your house. The driver assessed the map and studied the location, which was show as a building on the right as he travelled up the hill .
This is incorrect my addressis not on the right on the way up *** *hill

On the 21st October- The depot instantly called the driver to inform him of the error and he was instructed to collect the goods and re- deliver them to the farm above as the next Farm up was my Farm. As instructed, the driver did just that and appologised for any inconvenience caused for the mix up.Once the driver had the goods back on his van the driver took them to where he had been told My Farm was situated and delivered, again with the same prospects in mind as before that you would be anxious for your goods. With this in mind he left the item in what he would say was a safe location (outhouse/barn).
This is incorrect, my Farm is not the"next farm up" this is "Moore Farm" .Can you please tell me who instructed the driver to deliver it to this property? What would you propose to be "safe location"?

You also state that the driver stated that:
He did leave a card to inform residant of parcel whereabouts. What he actually did was leave MY BUMPER at an address different to mine with card also in an address which is NOT MY ADDRESS.
"He did not leave this parcel or any other parcel at the side of the road stated by you." This was stated by "Terry" his words was "It was left at the side of the road of the farm at the top"
"The goods were definatly left in the outhouse/barn" My Farm does not have a "outhouse/barn" .

Then I read on to where you are questioning my integrity by hinting that I am dishonnest to which I take great exception to. Not only do you have any respect for your customers with regards to deliveing the goods, you show the same lack of respect when they have a problem, which I can only describe as incompetatance from both the drivers and management. For the record I will answer your rediculas "queeries" as you put it.

Left at the side of the road- how would you know this unless you saw the goods there"
If you had of read my previous letter properly , you would of known that "Terry" had informed me of this.
You state that goods were left at a neighbors house- whist speaking to with your neighbor he insisted goods were collected from him and re-delivered to you as he does not socialise with yourself and was therfore not prepared to bring the item round for you. If this is the case how do you know our driver was at this address unless you saw him?
Again, from myself and "Terrys" phone call this was stated, this was also stated in my first letter. Are you also saying that my neighbor should do your job for you? The job that I payed good money for you to do?

You state that you do not have your goods -if the item has been left as you have stated then why have Huddersfield not been contacted by the owner of the premises?
Again as stated in my previous letter, this house that "Terry" informed me where the parcel was delivered is derelict. I dont know how good your understanding is of the word "derelict" is but i will enlighten you , it means "an abandoned property" .

I'd run that through some sort of spelling and grammar checker before you print and send it. The general idea of the letter is right, though.

Big companies always try and fob you off rather than admit their error.

Everytime I deal with Parcelforce etc, there's always my signature involved when receiving an item. Surely they would think to do this to cover themselves, but obviously they haven't and they are at fault.

Good luck with it, I hope you get it sorted out.
