wrighty, there not aircraft enginers as such, there guys that are either retired, or dont work full time, who work in hangers rebuilding stuff, the hangers also smell of oil and al you can hear is airguns going, tis

Yes yes yes yes yes!!!
Oily sheds are where its at, i fucking love that smell! But as you mentioned most i assume do this for a hobby or just ot help preserve it. A modern day aircraft engineer would be a very different story.
Rebuilding a spitfire/merlin
Id just want to find an empty hanger, close all doors/windows, get the engine fired up and rev the fucking tits off it

I wanted to join the RAF but 'cause I've got asthma I'm not allowed, EVEN THOUGH I CAN PASS ALL THE PHYSICAL TESTS
That was kinda my plan after Uni. Now I have no idea

Im 17... But dont have a clue what I want to do in life. Think its ''i want it all without any effort at the minute''
Would love a job in dentistry, and perhaps slowly make my way upwards, i'm interested in either dental technicians or a dental hygienist, both pay pretty good money...
Then when i found a job that i enjoy i'd travel a bit visit some countries that I have always wanted to... Get meself a nice little house decorate it nicely to how I want, and settle down and have a kid or two...
Long way off but thats how my ideal life would be... Enough money to not have to worry about buying things, and to stay out of debt

Yup, i was very tempted to go to Uni, but although i would have got everything paid for by them busary's or whatever, and the qualification that i would have got at the end would have entered me straight into a job, knowing me a year or two through id be bored and want something different

I was in the same boat two years ago after I finished uni. Did An Accountancy and Finance degree and wasnt sure whether to go into it after countless knock backs.
After two years of doing various work experience working for free etc I am still doing the same trying to grasp as much experience as I can to better myself.
The moral of the story folks is you got to work for it and not just ponder about it for ages.

In all honesty I wish I had joined the army the day I left school, now I am far to lazy and set in my ways to join.
