Best thing to do then is to get the parts in from the States of people want to do this then... The engine in that pic comes out the factory like that it's in a Dodge Cobolt or something gay like that.

it is wallace performance, my video. I was there.
ps. do any of you ever think that maybe the owner doesnt give a fek about the mirrors on it, or the mudflaps, and just builds a car to drive. rather than pull the local chav slag at McDs?

The engine is more than likely lighter than a C20XE, I think it would be very good match.

I had a Chevy Cobalt as a hire car last week when I was in Florida;

Mine was the 2.2 automatic

I've driven a Chev Cobalt 2.2 16v, and it doesnt go... at all.
Flat and gutless. It felt like a 1.2 compared to my Cupra.

Yeah I know what you mean, my 1.8 Astra is quicker but its probably the autobox as it took a couple of seconds for the gears to drop down once you pressed the accelerator

I had one as a rentacar when in North Carolina with work. Yeah the auto box was awful. It got abused senslessly from cold, redlining it along the highways driving home at 2 in the morning. It was quite lumpy at idle when i returned it
