Tough one, my missus saxo VTS aint to shy, was just RR at 140bhp with just a filter and magnex including decat, I suspect it to be quicker than the xsara but not by much

insurance wise i think they will be very similar

appearance they seem to be both oki'ish

spec seems to be very similar although im not sure how tuneable to xsara is compared to the 1600 block..

hmmm decisions decisions?

The Xsara has a 4 branch manifold as standard, adding an exhaust and k&n made it sound like a V6 lol!.

thats quite interesting that they have one as standard!
hmmmm really dunno what to get, both can be bought very clean etc as for 2k maybe even less.
how tuneable are the xsara's in comparisson with the vts (which i hear respond well in tuning)

Dunno, not looked in to it. 200bhp wouldn't be too dificult I would have thought.

200bhp sounds nice very very nice
change of cams and a remap exhaust, decat im sure would set me up to 180-185

i think im swaying more towards the xsara now so long as insurance is cheap enough
