Have you ever been to Qatar? If not, then you'll know why. They HAVE to pay people shit loads because the place is shite and most westerners hate it. Bahrain is better, but not by much.

i work with a few kiwis n ossies there pretty cool people but they were sayin the immigration law now means you have to pass national history tests, general intelligence etc etc

most of the jobs are IT professionals that sort of thing

i work in libya its .....great

Steve, I specialise in placing people in new jobs abroad

However if you dont have a CA qualification and want to work for deloitte etc I cant help

But, there are loads of UK based recruitment sites who can help. As has been mentioned, get the contract sorted before you go in terms of:

- relocation allowance
- salary
- bonus

You will probably fing that the first stage is a telephone interview, motives for moving, desired position etc.

Second stage would be more complex again in the form of a telephone interview or video conference
