I wouldn't say Hondas build quality is lacking. It depends how it's been looked after. The engines are generally superb.

The build i would say is a damn sight better than any other Jap bike manufacturer.

same here!

i used to race a honda rs 125 gp bike, then a honda cbr600 (fx), then a ducati 748r, then onto a honda vfr 400 nc30, then my old man died and i lost interest! i now have a mortgage to pay for so can't afford to race either, so i've got the aprillia to entertain me while i build a vfr 400 streetfighter!

TL1000 are good bikes, but are referd to as "the widow maker" in the US, mianly as the earliy ones didnt have a steering damper, which meant tank slappers where very common because of a design fault

My cousin used to have a 1994 Kawasaki KLR 250, and he never rode it, so sort of lent me it for a year, messed about with it, then the clutch cable snapped and he sold it.

Used to have a mini moto aswell, but it was wank!

Aye... My bikes big brother. Old man had a TL1000 for a while. The one pictured is actually the more aggressive bike. Came with more power and speed than the revised TL1000R (Faired). Old man went through rear tyres in around 900 miles. It was a beast. Same colour as above, but with twin carbon ART cans, screen etc.. Widowmaker indeed, he bought it crash damaged but rebuilt it. Most memorable moment, 160+ in the dark, coming back from a water safty committee meeting (Herne Bay) down the A2. Said he was going past lorries like they were going backwards... I only went on it a few times, but it really was a weapon in a straight line...

Mine... Not quick, but good fun...

Oh yeah, can't forget Ped can we....

Old man also has 3 bikes, this is the pick of the bunch currently.
