"0-60 mph comes in 6.0 seconds and it has a top speed of 150 mph"

not that much better than a VR6

i reckon the extra torque of the VR6 would see it prevail out of the corners

Unless you have driven an S2000 properly, I wouldn't slate them as you can't compare them to a Civic or another VTEC in the range. As the S2000 is built as a sports car. It's not a basic model in the Honda range with a VTEC engine in it.

In a world or 20mph limits and speed cameras everywhere you dont actully need 56456648bhp and 456641661ft lbs torque at 2.5k rpm

I love the way people shoot down vtec because 'al the pricks in their area drive ctr's'

I am totally with you, that's how they're designed why is one type of engine with certain characteristics floored just because some people couldn't be assed to take about .7 of a second to drop it a cog

s2000 on the straights and twisties would leave it

i was in my mates standard punto gt turbo and he raced my other mates golf vr6. vr6 was slowly pulling away right up until 80 then we had to slow down for a roundabout, up his ass in the roundabout then by 50 yards the punto had got past and the golf couldnt catch back up

vr6 sounded rather tasty though

Both great cars but in standard trim your money would have to be on the S2000 on virtually every discipline (talkin about the Corrado v S2000 BTW)
