i'm glad i painted my car myself, 7 layers of the base leaving 3 days between layers 3 and 4, then baked and left again for 2-3 days, then 6 coats of clearcoat which weren't thinned down much, also a garage and coilovers help, car will be raised around 20-25mm for winter and steel wheels put on
