The 2006 9T chronograph is available as a limited edition of 40 pieces in the United Kingdom. Watch is presented with an authentic component from the gearbox of a Honda Formula 1 car.

Seiko is a serious watch name.

Much more serious than any other watch mentioned in here.

Seiko make every single part themselves and have some of the best movements in the watch world.

Their springdrive movement is one of the best inovations in time for years.

Grand seikos are up there with the best of swiss and german watches.

Got one for my 21st last year but have never actually bought it yet
seen a few that were ok.

Have £5-600
want one that is a good name and will last forever not some designer that has stuck there name on a watch and bumped up the price.
Dont want tag as to expensive could only afford sporty looking thinkg
want it for wearing out etc. dont like gold either

So I could have that £3.5k Seiko (which to me looks just the same as their £250 watches)

Or a rolex sub.

No brainer there

Lets face is 20 years ago Seiko had some prestige, these days they dont.

If you followed any watch circles you would know they do.

I'd have a seiko over a rolex any day.
Rolex prices are artificially held at what they are just so people will make comments like you did there.

Seiko are sold in H samuels mate and whatever Ratners is now called

Go visit a goldsmiths and see where the seikos are displayed, right at the back adjacent to the pens is my guess.

@ the watch circle comment though, please point me in any direction (other than the seiko fan club) where they are held in the same esteem as the swiss handmade watches
