the people that work in the cells of police stations aren't policemen, they work for a company called GSL (formerly group 4.) there is a policeman there though, in teh form of the Custody Sergeant who works with a civilian. the idea is to get more policemen out on the streets rather than in the cells.

I was on the wrong tax code for about 3 months at this job! Now its sorted I'm paying less tax and got a cheque through the post Still get paid 6k less than at my old job though!

Ally, thats lastyears tax code you see, went up 14 points last year for everyone... your basically paying more tax on a 489L code than you would do on a standard 503L code

489L tax code gives you less tax free allowance than the current 503L tax code, therefore more tax being paid per period...
