You would have had him Stcheven if there was a corner and a hedge involved.

As standard it would pull away from your car with the remap anyway, I have been a passenger one and it does feel quite quick.
Torque is un abundance everywhere, with just simple mods like tubular manifold, stainless system, bigger FMIC and possily cams it responds well to tunring.
Just think the current focus WRC car doesnt use the ST volvo lump they use the old Duratec lump which shows how speical and tunable it is.
Not to mention it would dick on you in the corners

nah iv had a crack with a std one before in straight line was very similar, it was deffo modded, mine was similar to an s2000 i raced i cant see a std frs doing what it did to me to a std RS
i dont know how well they handle though.
this business about them feeling faster is just how the boost is supplied, aggressively.

My parents have a ST170 and thats more surefooted than my brothers Saxo which is pretty damn awsome
Would love Focus RS but residuals are rediculous at the moment

fair to say that the ST170 is the best handling car i have driven. partly down the conti sportcontacts, like you said, they are so surefooted you konw exactly what the car is capable of. who would have thought that a FWD car could have AWD capabilities as standard. I can only imagine the FRS improves on that.
