not sure about the VR

I would rather do the VAG lump which is just as easy as you can buy a plug and play loom for it. Urban myth that its a hard conversion You even retain the stock mk2 GTi g/box.

More tunable and fun IMO just dont sound as throaty

The G60 engine is a good conversion, me and my mate built his Scirocco.

Engine was £1k, plus 400 for Stage 1 charger and other cash for toothed belt and pulleys. Running 200bhp now.

Having said that, the 1.8T conversion is cheap. Can send a mk2 loom away and get it converted dead easy by some company.

Any good??

1800 16V Engine
Running on Twin 45 Delleroto's
Kent Cams
Kent Lightened Vernier Pulleys
Ported and Polished Head
Lightened & Balanced Bottom End
Lightened Flywheel
Competition Clutch
Has been dyno'd at 181bhp
I also have a new fuel pump from Race & Rally worth over £50.
Also Wiring loom and ECU from 16V Gti
Be different from all the 20VT's

What would that be worth??

Humm, if possible i would have thought a 1.8t lump would be preferred option, the one out of the cupra r, audi TT cus there 225bhp.
They fit them to alot of cars at Stealth racing thats down the road from me, they have to put them on DTA engine management, but that ups the power to 250bhp+.
I would have thought to get that power from a VR6 you would have to supercharge it?
