We cant get the passenger trains to run on time as it is!!! not sure how a train is going to deliver a load of cars to a dealership, or cans of beans to my shop

Shops would find it very hard to trade. I work in a supermarket we have about 25 deliveries a day.
It would be just about as practical as my suggestion
i only work in pub, but when youre needing a delivery every day we still find that by hgv its not the most reliable thing in the world and often run out of stock

Trains worked before roads were widely used.
no reason why it wouldnt work now, with a bit of jigging on the system.
put stuff on trains to a depot, stick it on a van for the 5 miles from the depot.

Vans cant carry no way near the amount of goods and weight as HGV's.
Lorrys should have the mirrors for the blindspot on them and you can see all the way down the side easily as long as their not making a tight turn.
Have you contacted the company who own the vehicle?

but the hgv managed to can open the side of her car
she didnt panic and managed not to go into the central reservation
he told her he was in a rush gave her his details and fucked off leaving her on the side of the road
admitted blame at the time of the accident
then tried to contest it later
gf had none of it and got them to admit 100%

Thats shit. The motorway is a fcuking dangerous place to be as people are driving fast and unfortunatly not paying attention. Glad you're ok.

we have bus lanes, so why not have lorry lanes on the motorway, so much council tax money is wasted, spend it on something that will save many more lives!

Same as a lot of Germany. Works there.
Blindspot excuse is rubbish, HGV entered your path therefore HGV is at fault. You can't enter the path of other vehicles. In the event that there is restricted visibity for a manouvre there should be adequate time allowed for other drivers to react.

It works very well in Germany. In fact, on the whole, driving on the motorways on mainland Europe is stressless. Everyone has respect for everyone else. Here it's like fucking amature hour. After drivng over 1500 miles in Europe and coming back to drive in England I have developed severe road rage because no one knows how to use the motorways properly, be it trucks or cars.

No one does. No one even gives a shit if they are in the way. Wht do the authorities do? Make the roads bigger which in turn makes the problem worse. If people used the roads proerly then there would be less congestion. You get people in the outside lane doing 30 and people on the hard shoulder doing 150. It's a bloody joke half the time.

if youre in middle lane, need to get across to inside lane as junction is approaching, indicate, and no one has the deceny to let you in, just drive practically level with you when they could easily speed up or slow down
